BRODE Capital acquires STOMATOLOGIE SKALKA – a dental clinic and a dental laboratory in Prague

PRAGUE, August 30 2016 - The investment portfolio of Luxembourg based PE fund BRODE Capital (BC) was successfully enlarged by an acquisition of a privately owned company STOMATOLOGIE SKALKA (Dentistry Skalka, DS) a dental clinic and a dental laboratory in Prague, Czech Republic.

The building where DS is located was built in 1980`s as a dental care center. It increased its position and patient base thanks to the rapid urban development of the large Prague area and also thanks to the demographic trends in the last 25 years in the Czech Republic. Location of the dental clinic on the subway Line A (some 12 minutes from the city center) and availability of other public transport modes ensures excellent accessibility for patients.

DS is a long term provider of a complex dental medicine care in Prague 10th district with high reputation and extensive patient base. The dental laboratory owned also by DS, located in the same building, provides its services also to other dental care practitioners.

The main objectives defined by BC and DS team are to continue to provide high-quality dental care, further increase the capacity of dental specialists and create a comfortable, patient oriented environment.
Josef Trnka, Chairman of the Board of Directors, BRODE Capital said, “DS has both immediate and medium term capacity to enlarge its scope of dental services in order to respond to the growing demand for dental medicine in Prague and thus increase its value to investors.”
